Use the PinK public API
The public pink module is available to ordinary extensions. Its documented capabilities include engine information, asset queries, PinK configuration, lifecycle state, and window operations.
ts
import * as pink from 'pink';
const engine = await pink.engine.getInfo();
const scripts = await pink.assets.queryAssetInfos({ extname: '.ts' });Usage principles
- Distinguish VS Code APIs from PinK APIs in your code.
- Wait until the PinK lifecycle is ready before calling project-dependent features.
- Add the Disposable returned by an event subscription to the extension's subscriptions.
- Use only interfaces declared in the public types.
- Do not copy internal types or depend on Workbench module paths.
Use the public API documentation and types supplied with the relevant PinK version.
