FAQ
Why are some functions temporarily not available when the project is open?
The project-related modules are launched incrementally. Waiting for projects, engines and resources to be initialized and check notifications and output panels. If it has not been recovered for a long time, the first error is recorded for screening.
What needs to be done before you switch items?
Save scripts, scenes, animations and configurations. The project switch cleans up the old project state and re-initiates the relevant modules and does not continue to submit resources or build operations during the switch.
What happens when resources are renamed to quote anomalies?
Prioritize the renaming through the PinK resource operations portal. Only name changes in the file system may not be synchronized to update metadata and references. Examine the results of resource operations, notify and depend on the resources.
What if the API in the script example does not exist?
Confirms whether the COCOS Creator version of the example corresponds to the project. Engine API is based on the official document of the project version and does not mix other large versions.
Where to look when build fails?
View the earliest errors in the build log instead of the last line; check the target platform tool chain, unsaved configuration, script error and resource processing phase.
How do I report an issue with this guide?
Records the full PinK version, the COCOS version used by the project, the current operating page, the actual behaviour and the recoverable steps. Do not attach an account number, key or project private resources to an open question.
