Accounts, permissions, and privacy
Published product information
PinK provides official downloads. For sign-in, credential storage, model providers, Chat data transmission and retention, telemetry, and proxy policies, use the official information supplied with the actual version. Do not infer these policies from interface labels or internal implementation.
Until a formal policy is available, do not send private company projects, unreleased assets, user data, or credentials to Chat. Before team adoption, obtain the data and privacy information for the version you plan to use.
Developer checks
- Keep passwords, tokens, certificates, and private assets out of conversations, logs, and screenshots.
- Before running a suggested terminal command, check its working directory, target files, and recovery method.
- Confirm deletion, overwriting, dependency installation, external access, uploads, and publishing separately.
- Check an extension's source, publisher, version, and permissions before installing it.
- Review automated diffs with version control before running the result.
- Remove user directories, private project paths, credentials, and business data from diagnostics.
These practices do not replace official privacy statements. Follow the latest official account, data, and privacy information when it is provided on the download page.
