Review and undo changes
After Chat proposes changes, review the diff before running the game. A normal-looking interface does not prove that asset references, version compatibility, or generated files are correct.
Review before accepting
- Scope: a Restart text change should affect only
Canvas/ResetButton/Labelinmain.scene, not gameplay scripts, build settings, or dependencies. Scoring changes belong inClickGame.ts. - Behavior: preserve
score += 1, fixedTARGET_POSITIONS, andresetGame()unless the task explicitly changes them. - Component references: in the Inspector,
GameController'sScore Labelmust point to a Label component;TargetandReset Buttonmust point to their nodes. Existing nodes do not imply valid bindings. Do not bypass missing references by recreating the interface at runtime. - Engine version: APIs must match the project's declared COCOS version.
- Asset paths: check case, directories, and
.metaUUIDs. Text changes should not recreate nodes or generate assets. - Generated files:
library, temp, local, andbuildshould not be included in source changes.
Run main.scene and verify the initial, clicked, and reset states. Plausible-looking code is not runtime evidence.
Undo changes
- Reject unaccepted Chat suggestions individually in the diff interface.
- Undo saved, uncommitted changes by file or patch; preserve unrelated workspace edits.
- When several tasks are mixed together, keep the needed changes before removing unrelated ones.
- For committed changes on shared branches, use a new revert commit to preserve history. Do not rewrite shared history without permission.
Review and undo related scene and script changes together to keep script properties consistent with saved scene references. Recheck Inspector bindings and rerun the original acceptance steps after undoing.
