Updates

PinK provides two client updates to the portal. Both portals perform the same up-to-date checks, either of which is sufficient.

Attention.: Before checking for updates, it is recommended to save items and documents that are being edited.

Update via application menu check

In the MacOS menu bar, an update check can be started from the PinK application menu.

1. Opens the PinK menu in the MacOS menu bar.
2. Select Check Updates...
3. Waits for the client to complete the check and then press the hint in the update window.

You can also start an update check from the client ' s bottom left management menu.

1. Select the management icon for the bottom left of the client.
2. Select " Check Update... " at the bottom of the menu.
3. Waits for the client to complete the check and then press the hint in the update window.

Check results

If a new version is detected, download and install according to the hint in the update window. If the current version is the latest, you can close the update window and continue using it.
