Automatic translation and Chat
After saving your first translation, use automatic translation for more text, or describe a localization task in Chat.
Translate with PinK AI
- On Localization Editor's main page, select PinK AI under Automatic translation.
- Follow the status prompts to sign in and connect.
- Open the target language's Translate page. Under Untranslated, select Translate with PinK AI.
- Review the returned drafts and select page Save.
Scope, drafts and saving
The button processes this language's text entries with non-empty source text and an empty base translation. Selecting one row does not limit the request to that row. Existing translations are preserved. Prepare media and quantity variants separately.
Check brand names before saving. Keep the PinK brand and the Demo name Pink Demo unchanged. For example, a Simplified Chinese title can be Pink Demo · 点击得分; do not translate the name to “粉色演示”. Preserve Keys and placeholders such as too.
If a request completes only some entries, read the result, save the successful work you want to keep, then handle failures or unfinished items. A connected status does not guarantee that every request succeeds.
Third-party translation
To use Youdao, select Third-party provider and YOUDAO on the main page. Enter the Application Key and Application Secret, then save the service credentials. If provider language mappings appear in the language list, configure both source and target.
Use the Youdao translation button on the target language's Untranslated page. Review and save the translation drafts separately. Saving credentials does not validate service permissions or quota, and sharing a project does not share the maintainer's service account.
If the service does not support a language directly, check whether the interface offers a similar supported language. If you use that option, review regional wording afterward. This does not change the project's language.
Use Chat for localization
In PinK Chat's Agent mode, state the language, scope and whether to save. For example:
Fill and save the game Demo's missing Simplified Chinese text translations. Preserve existing translations, the PinK and Pink Demo names, and all placeholders. Report what was actually saved and what still needs checking.
To inspect the project first:
Query saved localization data only. Do not modify files. List the source and target languages, Restart's Key and Simplified Chinese translation, and any untranslated content.
Check the result
Distinguish translation candidates, saved content and checked game output. A candidate is not necessarily saved. After requesting a save, reopen the entry in the panel. Use the actual game preview to check the display.
Save or discard panel drafts before asking Chat to modify the same content. Chat queries read saved project data. Follow actual PinK and L10N prompts if sign-in or connection is required.
